Cosplay | Handmade & Repurposed

Does anyone else have this problem?

Cosplays can be so expensive to buy! I much rather make my own cosplays, props, and accessories!
Plus I take pride in making my own cosplays (even if I get a bit of help ;P haha).

I have all these sketches for cosplay ideas, but it seems that drawing is the easy part! Actually making the cosplay, and/or making them on time for a Con, can be difficult.
Being a student, like myself, only adds to the lack of spare time to do these sorts of things.
Kyoko Cosplay
Animerevolution 2014
This cosplay of Kyoto Sakura from Madoka Magica is a handmade cosplay! Thanks to much appreciated help from my boyfriend's mother and sister! I believe the only things purchased were my thigh high socks and the wig. (And Kyubey too!).
Miku Cospaly
Animaritime 2014
This cosplay of Hatsune Miky from Vocaloid is another handmade cosplay! The shirt and thigh high socks were altered to fit what I wanted (the top used to be a men's blouse). The wig and shoes are the only purchased/un-altered pieces and the rest is made from scratch!
Undine Asuna Cosplay
Animaritime 2015
This cosplay of Undine Asuna from Sword Art Online is completely handmade! Thanks again to my boyfriend's amazing mother who help with the dress, sleeves and vest/jacket!
The sleeves were a bitch and I had to do most of it alone with made me want to be able to remove my arm to be able to make adjustments and fit it to my arm easier XD
Necklace, sword, and white strip on tights were done solo.
(Ears, tights, wig, and boots were  bought.)
