~Honey Color Contact Review~
I received 4 coloured contacts from Honey Color, and I am super impressed with the level of comfort and colour intensity. The only issue that has occurred is that one of the Red contact lenses does not have a prescription like the rest. This causes a bit more of a discomfort since I can't see properly out of one contact. (I double checked the packaging and the bottle is labeled as being the right prescription. I also tried re-soaking it in solution but it's still blurry.)
The blue contacts are perfect for my Sailor Moon cosplay as well as a few other characters I cosplay as. I wore these contacts for almost a full day and only noticed they started to feel a little dry. Other than that they were relatively comfortable. (I was dressed up as Sailor Moon for International Sailor Moon Day that took place on August 6th for the first time in New Brunswick this year.)
These grey contacts are nice and vibrant but not too vibrant. It's so strange to see myself with different coloured eyes.
I love how they blend with my eyes. I took this picture under bright lights to show off the color but I think they seem more natural in natural lighting or even just not light focused directly on them. My boyfriend noticed that my eyes were bigger but needed to look at them under a light to see clearly that they were contacts. I'm really happy about that for this pair because I want some to try to wear in public. I love the large eye affect and want to try some hazel shades next!
Love the color, especially since I ordered them for my Krul Tepes cosplay; however, there's no prescription in the left eye contact :'(
I will probably still try to use them but it's a little awkward and I probably won't be able to handle them in for extended periods of time. A little unfortunate but mistakes happen. (I was planning on doing a quick photo of Krul with these contacts but became so distracted by the blur in my left eye that I just took a quick photo for this blog post. I'll have to update the photo when I get a chance to do a Krul contest with these contacts)
***UPDATE: They sent me a new pair of contacts after emailing them letting them know that one did not have a prescription even though it was labeled as having one. I am thinking about re-doing my contact lenses video and trying the new ones on to test the prescription. ******

All my coloured contacts are prescription, which is free to add on at Honey Color.
Each pair of contacts came with a free plastic contact case: 2 pink hippos, a mint green pig, and blue frog.
